I am so sincerely sorry for your pain.
But…
Your pain is not the only pain in the world
Your pain does not make you right. It doesn’t justify your lashing out
Your pain does not necessarily make you noble or brave
Your pain may indeed destroy you, if you let it
Your pain is a curse…or a gift. It is whatever you make of it
Own it, wrestle with it, then give it to God as your offering, a sacrifice of praise
Choose to worship Him in spite of…and even in the midst of that pain
Then stand back in awe as He takes the very thing that was destroying you and transforms it into a balm in your hands to heal others
That’s the true power of your pain
